Blackberry Bold 9780 smartphone available at T-Mobile

Research In Motion (RIM) officially announced the new Blackberry Bold 9780 smartphone, which has been showed in a video previously. This newest Blackberry Bold phone runs the Blackberry 6 OS. It features full QWERTY keyboard and a optical trackpad for easy navigation.

The Bold 9780 sports a 480×360 LCD display, a 5 Megapixel camera, GPS for location-based applications and geo-tagging and Wi-Fi with support for carrier supported Wi-Fi calling (UMA where available). The phone has 512MB flash memory and supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB.

The Blackberry Bold 9780 will be available at T-Mobile on 17 November for $129.99 with a new 2-year contract.

Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Tab coming on 11 November

While Sprint will release the Galaxy Tab on 14 November, Verizon Wireless will have it three days earlier on 11 November. The Galaxy Tab will be available for a full price of $599.99, meaning there’s no data plan and contract needed. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab is a 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet device with 1Ghz Hummingbird processor, 3 Megapixel camera, 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, 1.3 Megapixel front camera, GPS, WiFi and 2GB internal memory.
