Acer officially introduces in the UK the Liquid Metal, its latest Android smartphone. Powered by the new SnapDragon 7230 800MHz processor like the T-Mobile G2, the Liquid Metal runs Android 2.2 OS. Looks a bit like its predecessor, the Liquid and Liquid e, this Metal phone has a more curvy design and gets solid and resistant steel casing with a chrome trim.
The Liquid Metal has a 3.6-inch capacitive touchscreen; a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p video recording, LED flash, image stabilizer, and facial and smile recognition; WiFi and support for HSDPA network. The phone feature the Dolby Surround technology for enhanced sound quality and allows users to customize the sound with EQ profiles and Dynamic Bass Boost.
Available in silver and brown, the Acer Liquid Metal will be released soon for GBP299.
