AT&T Motorola ATRIX 4G Dual Core Android Phone


Motorolal introduces the “world’s most powerful smartphone”, the ATRIX 4G dual-core Android phone. The ATRIX 4G is boosted by a NVIDIA Tegra dual core processor with each core running at 1GHz and 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 2.2 with MOTOBLUR UI.


The Motorola ATRIX 4G features a 4-inch qHD (quaterHD) 960×540 touchscreen with 24-bit color, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera for video call, 16GB of internal storage and HDMI output. The phone supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11n connectivity and comes with a biometric fingerprint reader for easily unlocking your phone while providing extra security. The phone measures just 11mm thin and has room for a large 1930 mAh battery providing 9 hours of talk time and 10.4 days standby.

The ATRIX 4G supports quad-band GSM and tri-band WCDMA networks, including HSDPA up to 14.4 Mbps. AT&T will release this “most powerful smartphone” in Q1 2011.


Motorola also introduce two companion docks for ATRIX 4G. The Motorola HD Multimedia Dock has three USB ports and an HDMI port enabling connections to a keyboard, mouse, speakers and HDMI-compatible monitor for working at your desk/office or bring HD content to your HDTV. The Motorola Laptop Dock is designed to work with the Motorola’s webtop application, transforming the ATRIX 4G into a smartbook. The super slim Laptop Dock has a 11.6-inch screen, full keyboard, stereo speakers, 36Wh three-cell battery that delivers up to eight hours of battery life. It has a dock for the phone on the back and weighs just 2.4 pounds.
